This black seed oil testing page provides key results from our August 2026 batch, including thymoquinone (TQ), fatty acids, heavy metals, microbiological testing, and the supporting Certificate of Analysis.
August 2026 Batch Overview
The information below is summarized from the Certificate of Analysis for King Tut’s Secret Black Seed Oil Capsules, Batch Production No. 0825KTS01. Our black seed oil testing approach is designed to make batch-specific information easier to understand. Rather than relying only on general quality statements, we review measurable characteristics of the finished product, including thymoquinone, fatty-acid composition, heavy metals and microbiological results. Because black seed oil is a natural agricultural product, some characteristics can vary from batch to batch. This lets you compare the reported results directly with the established batch specifications.
Thymoquinone (TQ)
15.2 mg/g
Thymoquinone occurs naturally in the cold-pressed oil. Because this is a natural whole oil rather than a standardized extract, composition can vary from batch to batch.
Fatty-Acid Profile
The August 2026 COA reports a total measured fatty-acid composition of 98.76%. Major naturally occurring fatty acids include:
Heavy Metals
As part of our black seed oil testing, heavy-metal analysis was performed using ICP-MS. Results below are shown against the established batch specifications reported on the COA.
| Test | Established Specification | Reported Daily Result* | Assessment |
|---|---|---|---|
| Lead (Pb) | ≤ 0.5 µg/day | 0.058 µg/day | CONFORMS |
| Mercury (Hg) | ≤ 2.0 µg/day | 0.004 µg/day | CONFORMS |
| Cadmium (Cd) | ≤ 4.1 µg/day | 0.002 µg/day | CONFORMS |
| Arsenic (As) | ≤ 10 µg/day | 0.004 µg/day | CONFORMS |
*The COA reports heavy-metal results per softgel. Daily results above are calculated using the labeled serving of two softgels so they can be compared directly with the COA’s daily-dose specifications.
“Conforms” means the reported result meets the established specification shown for this batch. It does not mean FDA approval or certification. For more information on dietary supplement manufacturing and quality requirements, see the FDA’s Current Good Manufacturing Practices for Dietary Supplements .
Microbiological Results
The COA references applicable USP microbiological methods. All reported microbiological results conform to the established batch specifications.
| Test | Established Specification | Reported Result | Assessment |
|---|---|---|---|
| Total Aerobic Microbial Count | ≤ 1,000 cfu/g | <10 cfu/g | CONFORMS |
| Total Combined Yeast & Mold | ≤ 100 cfu/g | <10 cfu/g | CONFORMS |
| Total Coliform | ≤ 100 cfu/g | <10 cfu/g | CONFORMS |
| E. coli | Absent / 10 g | Absent / 10 g | CONFORMS |
| Salmonella | Absent / 10 g | Absent / 10 g | CONFORMS |
| Staphylococcus aureus | Absent / 10 g | Absent / 10 g | CONFORMS |
| Pseudomonas aeruginosa | Absent / 10 g | Absent / 10 g | CONFORMS |
Black Seed Oil Testing Documentation
We summarize the batch data above to make the information easier to understand. We also believe you should be able to review the source documentation yourself.
Why both documents?
The King Tut’s Secret Testing Summary presents the results in a more readable format. The original Certificate of Analysis remains the underlying source document and is provided without modification.
Why One Batch May Not Look Exactly Like Another
Black seed oil is a natural agricultural product. Characteristics such as color and the levels of naturally occurring constituents can vary between batches. That is one reason we believe batch-specific testing matters.
We focus on understanding and documenting the oil rather than treating a natural product as though every harvest must produce an identical analytical profile.
